The Treatment Registry is an independent project that documents medical and dental clinics serving international patients. We publish verifiable facts — accreditations, corporate registrations, published reviews, and pricing transparency — and present them in a neutral, structured format.
The medical tourism industry generates billions of dollars annually, yet patients often struggle to find reliable, unbiased information about the clinics they are considering. Much of the information available online is produced or funded by the clinics themselves, by referral agencies earning commissions, or by review platforms with commercial relationships.
We believe patients deserve access to a factual record — similar to a Companies House filing or a Wikipedia article — that presents verified information without commercial bias. The Treatment Registry is our attempt to build that record.
Our Principles
- Neutrality
- We do not rank clinics. We do not recommend one clinic over another. We present facts and let patients make their own informed decisions.
- Independence
- We do not accept payment for listings, enhanced placement, or referral commissions. Our editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial relationships.
- Transparency
- We publish our methodology in full. When we cannot verify a claim, we say so. When we identify concerns, we explain what we found and link to our sources.
- Accuracy
- We verify information against primary sources wherever possible. We date our verifications and acknowledge that information can change. We welcome corrections.
Team
The Treatment Registry is assembled by a small editorial team working to verifiable, public-sources standards. We publish roles rather than individual biographies at this stage; a staff page with named contributors and declared interests is in preparation.
- Editorial
- Source selection, verification sign-off, and neutrality review.
- Data verification
- Accreditation checks, corporate registration lookups, and documentary evidence archiving.
- Technical
- Site engineering, structured data, and accessibility. All code is open-source and independently auditable.
Conflicts of interest: we do not accept clinic sponsorship, referral commissions, or enhanced-listing fees. Personal interests of individual contributors (e.g. prior employment in the sector) are declared here when the biography page is published.
Limitations
The Treatment Registry is a reference resource, not a substitute for professional medical advice. We cannot verify clinical outcomes, surgical skill, or the quality of care provided by any clinic. Our verification covers publicly available documentation only. See our disclaimer for full details.
