The Thai Dental Council (ทันตแพทยสภา) regulates dental practitioners in Thailand. Registration is mandatory for all practising dentists and dental specialists. The Council maintains a public licence register, sets specialty training standards, and administers professional conduct procedures.

What It Covers

Limitations

Council registration confirms individual practitioner licensure but does not accredit dental clinics or procedures. Clinic-level quality varies independently of practitioner registration status. Verify individual dentist licensing via the Council's register before committing to treatment.

Renewal and Validity

Dental licences are renewed periodically subject to continuing education requirements. Disciplinary actions or suspensions are reflected in the public register.
